Almost every Russian institution asks for it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>An apostille<\/strong> is the stamp that makes a Russian document valid abroad. It is placed on the original or on a notarised copy before translation; the order depends on the requirements of the receiving country, so it is worth checking in advance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Consular legalisation<\/strong> is required for countries outside the Hague Convention.
